What you'll be up to

Emily O’Malley, is building her own five-star getaway haven in Delicious – Bed and Breakfast

To work with the team behind this Delicious story we are looking for a Lead unity Developer.

You will be part of a self driven and passionate team working on a live game that our players love.

You will have ownership of the technical architecture while engaging the team in productive technical discussions to continue improve and scaling the game. 

Bring your knowledge and experience to tackle technical challenges, propose creative and scalable solutions and help continuously improve our development, testing and deployment process and you will have a direct and meaningful impact on the game and the team.

You will also be 

  • Optimizing our game built in Unity.
  • Ensuring code is modular and scalable.
  • Working closely with the tech team on creating the technical design of the game.
  • Evangelizing and ensuring coding standards are followed and help to enforce good programming practices within the engineering team.
  • Discussing the roadmap with stakeholders, being flexible about changes and solutions.
  • Proactive to propose improvements and make a positive impact in the technical team.
  • Collaborating with development teams across the company to share knowledge and build flexible, reusable solutions to our common goals.

  • When you know the game internals and are able to discuss how any change will impact the current codebase
  • You are able to understand current issues with the codebase, and you have  a plan to fix them
  • You have a clear understanding of the roadmap and you are able to clearly explain to your team the impact of any update or change, and make the necessary adjustments to make it possible
  • The team sees you as a mentor and want to discuss technical issues with you
  • Stakeholders see you as a reliable person, and you manage to reach the  agreed goals within the agreed dates
  • The game’s technology is used as a reference in other games
