You are a passionate, experienced Game Designer that will take the game to the next level.

Based in Barcelona in a hybrid model, you will have the opportunity to join the team behind Delicious World.

What you will be up to

  • In this role, you will work closely with the Product Manager and the team to define the game’s long term vision and high-level goals for future game updates
  • You will work on introducing new Live events, expanding game’s meta, adding new game modes and overviewing content strategy while being player centric and attentive to player feedback
  • KPI driven you will drive the growth of the game together with the Product Manager and will help prioritize, build, validate and test features, monetization and LiveOps
  • You will be in charge of high level game’s user experience, balancing game difficulty and economy, introduction of new game mechanics and levels
  • You will define and refine a process for using analytical KPI driven approach in design
  • Together with the production you will create a process for frequent releases and A/B testing together with Backend, Product Management

What's needed to succeed in this role

  • You have experience leading a live game design team on F2P mobile games (Ideally for a female audience)
  • Awareness of F2P market changes & opportunities. Understanding how the top games function and what their key success drivers are
  • Ability to communicate to stakeholders on the progress of the game and sharing expectations with the team in a clear and open way.
  • Keen understanding of player mindsets especially on user experience, monetization and retention.
  • You have mentored other designers and observed their professional growth under your leadership
  • You love sharing your team’s ideas and absorbing best practices from others, to keep yourself and the team inspired and motivated.
  • You feel comfortable sharing your vision and “the why” to the team and the company as a whole
Bonus that would be nice to have:
  • Hands-on experience using third party game engines
  • You have launched several successful game’s expansions and created new big size live events that had a great impact on the game
  • You are an expert in Excel or other spreadsheet suite
  • You worked on a cooking time management game or any other time management game
